ABOUT P M BUCHAN

Author and comic-book writer P M Buchan was born in the North East of England and studied BA (Hons) English Literature at the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. He has been published in The Times Literary Supplement, Rue Morgue Magazine, Bleeding Cool, and Modern Language Review (journal of the Modern Humanities Research Association), writing monthly columns for various international genre magazines and interviewing authors such as Anne Rice, Steven Hall and Roman Dirge.

As well as working on comic-books with the 38-million-record selling band Megadeth and Heavy Metal Magazine, and being quoted by the Guardian as an authority on the British comic-book industry, he has also had monthly comic strips published in Starburst and SCREAM magazines. He is co-creator of the comic-book series BLOOD MOON, HERETICS, and LA BELLE DAME SANS MERCI.

His past clients include SEQUENTIAL, the iPad app for digital graphic novels, and pro bono work for numerous charities, including YES Matters, a group campaigning to tackle lack of knowledge around issues of consent and sexual objectification.
